Dear Parents,
This is just a quick note to remind you that our family Beetle Drive takes place this Friday 5th October at 6.30pm in the school hall. There are ten games on the card and it is £1 per card. This event is always great fun and it is an easy way for parents to support their child's school. There will also be a Raffle during the evening and we expect it to finish around 8.00pm.
The tickets for the Family Christmas Party Night with Buffet and 'Mustang' band are now available from the class teachers at £10.00 each - children are free. This promises to be a great night but tickets are limited on account of hall space, so it will be 'first come......' The numbers for this event must be in by Friday 19th October.
There has been a case of nits in the school, so please be very vigilant about your child's hair. this should always be checked on a regular basis.
There will be two ladies coming along from the After School Club next Tuesday 9th october to take the names of those children who intend staying for the after schhool club. The ladies will be in the school hall next tuesday from 3.00 - 4.30p.m. Any parent who is not able to be here next Tuesday, then please make sure that whoever is collecting your child from school gives your child's name and times etc. to the ladies involved. The after school club will start hopefully after half term. The delay was caused seemingly by the firm changing hands.
The school photographer will also be in school next Tuesday to phograph the children starting at 9.30a.m. Please ensure that the children have their hair tidy and look smart in their uniform, - as they usually do on the whole.
Our Open Week starts on Monday 15th - Friday 19th October. Please pass the word around to relatives, friends and neighbours to come along and see the children at work.
Our evenings for parents take place on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th October.
Many thanks to our parents who did the lovely posters and tickets for our Christmas Party event - well done!By the way, there is no Wednesday Mass this week for the children as Father Barnabas is away.
Our special CAFOD COLLECTION takes place this coming Friday. This time it is going to help those poor people in Zimbabwe who are suffering such hunger and depravity.
